These terms govern your use of stepdeeper.com and of our design tools at sim.stepdeeper.com, room.stepdeeper.com and one.stepdeeper.com (together, “the site”). By using the site you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
About us.
The site is operated by Step Deeper Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12564855) with its registered office at 2a Bellevue Road, London N11 3ER. References to "we", "us", and "our" mean Step Deeper Ltd.
Use of the site.
You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial information. You agree not to:
- use the site in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the servers on which it is stored, or any connected systems
- upload or transmit any material that contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect information from the site for unauthorised purposes
- misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organisation
The design tools.
Our loudspeaker and room design tools are provided free of charge and require an account, which you sign in to with one-time email links. You are responsible for the accuracy of the email address you register and for keeping access to that inbox secure, since anyone with the link can sign in as you while it is valid.
You may save designs and room setups to your account for your own use, personal or professional. You agree not to abuse the tools, including attempting to disrupt the service, circumvent sign in, or use the account system to have email sent to addresses that are not yours. We may suspend or close accounts that do so.
The tools produce theoretical predictions. Verify every calculation with real world measurement before you cut wood, buy drivers, or otherwise rely on it; the “Warranties and liability” section below applies to the tools and their output in full. The tools are offered in beta: features may change, and while we take care with saved work — you can export a copy at any time — you should keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from one.stepdeeper.com.
Intellectual property.
All content on the site, including text, photography, illustrations, layouts, code, the Step Deeper wordmark, and the names of our sub-brands, is owned by Step Deeper Ltd or its licensors and is protected under United Kingdom and international intellectual property law. You may view, download for personal reference, and share links to the site. You may not republish, sell, or otherwise commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission.
Trademarks.
Step Deeper, Creek Audio, MiTA Labs, and Music Is The Answer are trademarks of Step Deeper Ltd or its group companies. Other names and logos referenced on the site are the property of their respective owners.
Linked sites.
The site contains links to third party websites that we do not control. We provide these links for convenience and we are not responsible for the content of, or the privacy practices on, any linked site.
No advice.
The content of the site is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely, and you should obtain professional advice before taking, or refraining from, any action on the basis of content on the site.
Warranties and liability.
We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the content. Your use of the site is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, or consequential, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site, including without limitation loss of profits, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Changes.
We may revise these terms at any time. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage. By continuing to use the site after a change you accept the revised terms.
Governing law.
These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
